Introduction

Psychological Counseling Center
Q & A

What can Psychological Counseling Center do for you?
Psychological Counseling Center (PCC) is available to help any students who experience a wide variety of personal, academic and relationship concerns. We offer various services including brief psychological evaluation, consultation, individual/group therapy, and individual/group psychological tests.  All registered students at the National Dong Hwa University are eligible for most our services without any charge.

It is not uncommon when you encounter problems, make choices, have concerns or adapt to changes in your lives. In most cases, you can just work through those concerns by yourselves, or with the help of friends or families. However, you might find out that your concerns are too personal, complicated, or overwhelming to share with your friends or families, or your friends and families perhaps are part of your concerns.  In those instances, a counseling professional at PCC could provide you with a safe and confidential setting in which you could explore your feelings and thoughts, examine your options and alternatives, and move toward your ultimate goals.

What brings students to the PCC?
Students come to PCC for various reasons. PCC could help you when you encounter problems about:
  • Problems of relationships
  • Making decisions about your career
  • Feeling stressed-out, depressed or sad
  • Problems of school or studying
